Ski Utah · Eden, Ogden Valley

Nordic Valley

A small, friendly hill on the Ogden Valley side of the mountains with low prices and night skiing. It is a good first mountain for kids and new skiers.

Snow report

Use the operator’s conditions and webcam page, and check opening updates before making a winter trip.

Snow readings and their last-updated time are on the operator’s site. Live snow totals are not currently displayed on this page.

How to read a snow report
24-hour / 48-hour snowfall
New snow over the stated reporting window. The 48-hour total includes the 24-hour window; don’t add them together.
Base depth
Snow on the ground at the resort’s reporting location, which can differ from conditions elsewhere on the mountain.
Season snowfall
Snow accumulated over the season’s reporting period, rather than the depth currently on the ground.
Forecast
A prediction of future snow, separate from measured snowfall. Snowfall alone does not establish which lifts or trails are open.

Use the source’s update date and time zone, especially around overnight storms. Off-season or stale reports may retain old readings. A missing or undated report does not mean no snow.

Report links checked (Utah, America/Denver). This is a link check, not the time of a snow observation.

Nordic Valley has been teaching northern Utah to ski since the late 1960s. It is compact, with mostly green and blue runs, a few steeper lines off the top and lights for night skiing, so families can ski after school or work. It shares the Power Pass with Brian Head and several Southwest resorts.

The views across Pineview Reservoir and the Ogden Valley are lovely at sunset. For 2026–27, lift tickets are picked up in a temporary lodge where the old barn stood, with rentals in a yurt beside it. It is about 25 minutes from downtown Ogden and next door to Powder Mountain and Snowbasin.
