Official visitor information ↗Snow report
Closed for the 2026–27 winter season
Follow the resort’s recovery updates for reopening news. Older snow totals and forecasts do not mean the resort is operating.
How to read a snow report
- 24-hour / 48-hour snowfall
- New snow over the stated reporting window. The 48-hour total includes the 24-hour window; don’t add them together.
- Base depth
- Snow on the ground at the resort’s reporting location, which can differ from conditions elsewhere on the mountain.
- Season snowfall
- Snow accumulated over the season’s reporting period, rather than the depth currently on the ground.
- Forecast
- A prediction of future snow, separate from measured snowfall. Snowfall alone does not establish which lifts or trails are open.
Use the source’s update date and time zone, especially around overnight storms. Off-season or stale reports may retain old readings. A missing or undated report does not mean no snow.
Eagle Point Resort will not operate for the 2026–27 winter season. The resort announced the closure on August 3, 2026, citing the Cottonwood Fire’s damage to its lifts, ski terrain and surrounding forest. It said the fire burned about 300 acres of ski terrain, destroyed Canyonside Lodge and the Tushar Ridge Warming Station, damaged four of its five chairlifts and contributed to the loss of 145 homes and condominiums in the Eagle Point community.
In a later recovery update, the resort said cleanup of the Canyonside Lodge site was finished, the Monarch lift came through without damage, and several other lifts will need new haul ropes, structural parts and other repairs, with the Canyonside lift and Tushar Peaks surface lift hit hardest. It has not announced when lifts will run again. Holders of 2026–27 season passes were offered a refund, a transfer to 2027–28 or a donation to BeaverTUF, a new Beaver County recovery foundation.
Before the fire, Eagle Point ran a limited weekly schedule on high terrain in the Tushar Mountains, about 30 minutes from the town of Beaver on I-15.
