Utah’s cycling culture

Choose the ride before the distance

A separated path, a city street and a mountain-road climb call for different plans. Look at the route surface, traffic exposure, elevation changes and turnaround options before choosing a ride.

Use current route information

Visit Salt Lake’s cycling information is a good place to start for ideas. Check the responsible city, trail manager or road agency for closures and access before leaving. UDOT Traffic covers state-road conditions.
