Springville Station Area Plan

Springville's council adopted its Station Area Plan by Ordinance 23-2026 on Oct. 20, 2026, according to the city's Oct. 21 notice. State law requires cities with a planned rail station to adopt such a plan. A city draft that the Planning Commission reviewed in October 2025 described roughly 158 acres between 900 South and Center Street, from about 1200 West to 1750 West, near the proposed FrontRunner stop, with about 1,311 homes and 69 acres of commercial land. The adopted plan may differ from that draft, and the notice gives no vote count. The station's timing is uncertain, and the plan sets goals; zoning to carry it out is a later step.
