Redwood Medical
Redwood Medical is the last piece of a commercial development at 1843 North Redwood Road that is zoned Mixed-Use. The council approved its preliminary plat and site plan on Sept. 15, 4-0 with one member absent, on the staff report's findings and conditions. The plan has four lots and two commercial buildings: a 30-foot building on Lot 1 intended for take-out restaurants, medical offices and retail, and a 40-foot building on Lot 2 with a flagpole that may bring it to 45 feet. Housing is not proposed and is barred by the development agreement from the earlier rezone. The east entrance is right-in, right-out only, and the applicant said the traffic study showed the extra buildings would not add much. The applicant told the council he had no tenants yet. A council member confirmed these were the only buildings left to finish. The adoption notice the city posted the next day covers two other ordinances (the Andover rezone and accessory dwelling rules), not this administrative approval. Permits, construction and opening are not shown in the record.
