Dutch John at a glance

Daggett County · Utah

Dutch John is one of the small communities connected by the Flaming Gorge–Uintas National Scenic Byway. The US-191 branch passes the town on its way toward the Utah–Wyoming border, placing it in the wider Flaming Gorge recreation landscape.

For a visit, the town and surrounding recreation area are useful starting points for planning time near the reservoir. For residents, Dutch John’s own website publishes council and planning agendas, public hearings and municipal notices. Town business, national recreation-area information and concession services come from different organizations. Dutch John can attach separate work-session and regular-meeting recordings to a council notice, alongside final minutes. Match the segment and meeting date to the item being followed; the work-session discussion and the final written record should not be treated as interchangeable.
