Sterling at a glance

Sanpete County · Utah

Sterling’s town website places the community on Heritage Highway 89 and introduces its setting through open land, Six Mile Canyon and nearby Palisade State Park. Those connections give this Sanpete County town a distinct relationship with both the valley travel corridor and the surrounding recreation landscape.

Palisade has its own state-park management and visitor information, including reservoir and golf resources. Town government separately publishes meeting materials and contacts. Keeping those resources distinct helps residents find municipal records while visitors check the park operator for current conditions. Planning documents linked as drafts should likewise be read as proposals unless an adopted version is identified.
