Central Valley at a glance

Sevier County · Utah

Central Valley’s municipal history traces settlement along the Sevier River to 1874. It follows a sequence of names: Inverury, then Central, and later Central Valley. The town says it incorporated in 2005, a reminder that a community’s settlement history and the age of its municipal government can be very different.

The current website brings together a community center, park resources, water information and planning. Council minutes and public notices sit alongside those everyday services. Residents can use that combination to explore the town’s local identity and follow public business, while keeping older records and proposed actions separate from current requirements.
