Background
Will Talbot serves on the Piute County Commission and has a background in livestock ranching. A 2017 KSL profile described his Greenwich ranching operation, including sheep and cattle that grazed on public lands. In that interview, he emphasized agriculture’s importance to the county’s economy and discussed the effects of public-land management on ranchers. His involvement in agricultural policy continued in January 2024, when legislative committee minutes identified him as a rancher and Piute County commissioner testifying in support of livestock-grazing legislation.
