Thomas Keith Wahlberg, also identified in local reporting as Tom Wahlberg, is a 2026 candidate for Rich County sheriff. Utah Public Radio reported in September 2026 that he had lived in the county for 26 years and worked in law enforcement for more than a decade. He spent seven years working for Rich County before moving to the North Park Police Department. In that interview, Wahlberg emphasized more officer training, faster public communication during emergencies and greater involvement with local schools. He is running without a party affiliation.
