State and county representation

Harrison represented the Sandy and Draper area in the Utah House of Representatives from 2019 through 2022. She now serves in Salt Lake County’s At-Large B council seat, representing residents countywide. The county’s current Board of Health roster also identifies her as a member, adding a public-health governance assignment to her elected legislative role and medical background. [1] [4]

Affordability and county services

Harrison’s campaign platform identifies the cost of living as a priority. It highlights affordable housing, food assistance for older residents and access to recreation for young people. She also calls for close scrutiny of spending and contracts while supporting public safety and essential services. Those are her stated campaign positions on the balance between household costs and county programs. [3]

Environment and public health

Her campaign also emphasizes cleaner air, water conservation and protecting the Great Salt Lake. It describes work with Utah Renewable Communities to expand clean-energy options and links environmental conditions to community health and economic prospects. These stated priorities complement her medical career and current public-health board service, bringing environmental and household concerns into her countywide policy agenda. [3]
