Mike Farrar is Apple Valley’s mayor. His public-service record includes work on restoring dependable drinking water to the town’s Cedar Point neighborhood after a prolonged period of unreliable service and a 2023 water emergency. At the July 2025 dedication of a new pipeline, he described seeking help from Governor Spencer Cox and following up with state contacts. KSL reported that the mayor’s office worked alongside the state, the local water district and contractors on the six-mile pipeline and booster station, a project serving about 170 homes.
