Background
Michael Murphy serves as the interim representative for Seat F on the Wasatch County Council, with a term ending in December 2026. A Timber Lakes resident and defense contractor, he served on the county planning commission before joining the council. The council approved his appointment in April 2026 following a nomination by the county Republican Party. His district includes Hideout, Timber Lakes and the eastern portion of the county.
