Lyman Anderson is mayor of Redmond. In a September 2025 candidate statement published by the Salina Sun, he described four years of prior service on the Town Council. Anderson said he led committees involved in the fall festival, new pickleball courts and recognition of residents’ landscaping efforts. He also reported securing a grant to upgrade streetlights and reduce the town’s energy costs. His campaign priorities included further park improvements, town cleanup and cooperation with residents and council members while preserving Redmond’s small-town character.
