Background

Libby Shelton's campaign biography describes her work as a therapist specializing in substance-use and domestic-violence treatment. She earned a master's degree in social work at Utah State University and a bachelor's degree in anthropology at Weber State University. Her political service has included county and state delegate roles and a decade as a local caucus vice chair. According to the same biography, she joined the Utah Forward Party in 2025 and serves as its Weber County vice chair.
