Background

Les Barker is Garfield County’s surveyor. A 1993 Deseret News report described his promotion to county recorder after serving as assistant recorder since September 1985. Before joining the county, he worked in surveying for Creamer Engineering in Las Vegas, followed by Coon, King and Knowlton and DMJM in Cedar City.
