Johnny Parsons is the mayor of Monroe and a television technician for Sevier County. His 2026 municipal disclosure also identifies him as the owner of Bigger Elk Ranch, a farming business, and Bigger Comm., a technology business. His communications work predates that filing: in July 2016, he presented a proposal to county commissioners to add the KTTA television channel to the Fishlake translator station, which the commission approved.
