John Olson is mayor of Vernon and has held additional local and regional public-service roles. Town records document his selection for another year as chair of the Tooele County Council of Governments in January 2025. He also served a January 2024 through December 2025 term on the Wasatch Front Regional Council’s Community Development Block Grant Regional Review Committee.
