Background
Jed Bartholomew is a former Fayette mayor whose public service also included a seat on the Town Council. In January 2021, the Sanpete County Commission appointed him to the Six County Association of Governments’ mayor position. He resigned as Fayette mayor in August 2026. The Sanpete Messenger reported that he had accepted work connecting the state with a company introducing tablet technology in correctional facilities. His municipal responsibilities had included grants and town administration.
