Background
Glenis Pearson is San Juan County’s treasurer and previously spent several years working as a deputy treasurer. In a June 2024 candidate statement, she described serving her third term and said her earlier deputy work had prepared her for the office. She reported diversifying the county’s investments, revising accounting procedures and creating spreadsheets to improve financial recordkeeping. Her county service continued with a new oath of office in January 2025.
