Background
Carri R. Jeffries is Iron County’s recorder and previously served as its chief deputy recorder, an appointment approved in January 2015. As recorder, she presented plans for a Property Watch notification service in July 2023, intended to alert owners when documents were recorded against their property. At the same meeting, she presented a state-funded grant for maintaining land-survey monuments. County commissioners approved the grant, supporting work to identify and restore the markers used for township and section boundaries.
