Background
Brody L. Keisel was appointed to the Sixth District Juvenile Court in 2017. He previously served as deputy Sanpete County attorney and then elected county attorney, with work on victim advocacy and indigent defense. He earned degrees at BYU and the University of Nebraska College of Law. The court's biography says Keisel chaired the Utah Indigent Defense Funds Board from April 2013 until his appointment, taught criminal law as an adjunct professor at Snow College and worked as an instructor for the Utah Department of Corrections.
