The Utah men's golf team will close its fall schedule at the Williams Cup in Wilmington, N.C., on Oct. 18-20, Utah Utes Athletics reported. [1]

The 54-hole event, with 18 holes each day at Eagle Point Golf Club (par 72, 7,099 yards), features 13 teams, including Arizona State, Florida, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Notre Dame and UNLV. Utah finished seventh in the event last season. [1]

Utah will start Gabriel Palacios, Jack Jerge, Sergio Jimenez, Rex Wilson and Jan Farre. Head coach Garrett Clegg said Farre will be playing in his first stroke play lineup. "The Williams Cup is one of the top events in the fall college golf slate," Clegg said. [1]

The Utes competed in the Big 12 Match Play earlier in the week and will not play again until February 2027. [1]
