Lehi-area high school football teams open the 6A state playoffs on Oct. 30, the Lehi Free Press reported. It said all 6A teams get a bye week before the round of 16 under the new playoff formula. [1]

Skyridge (8-1, 4-0 in Region 3) edged Mountain Ridge on strength of schedule to take the top spot in the final 6A RPI, the Free Press said. The Falcons host No. 16 Riverton (2-8). If Skyridge wins, it will host the winner of No. 8 American Fork (6-4) and No. 9 Copper Hills (7-3) in a Nov. 6 quarterfinal; quarterfinals are played at the higher seed's field. [1]

Lehi (5-5, 1-3 in Region 3) is the No. 10 seed and visits No. 7 Lone Peak (5-5) in a rematch of a Region 3 game the Knights won by a touchdown. The winner plays No. 2 Mountain Ridge (10-0) or No. 15 Cedar Valley (1-9) on Nov. 6. Kickoffs are at 6 p.m. unless the schools agree to change them. [1]

Correction, Oct. 17, 2026: An earlier version said the Skyridge-Riverton winner would play its Nov. 6 quarterfinal at Skyridge. Skyridge hosts only if it wins; quarterfinals are played at the higher seed's field.
