Northern Utah is in for a mostly dry weekend with partly cloudy skies and temperatures about 5 degrees below average, KUTV reported. Mornings along the Wasatch Front and in northern valleys will be chilly. [1]

A slow-moving low pressure system will keep southern and eastern Utah unsettled. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms could develop Saturday and continue through Saturday night and Sunday, with the best chances in the eastern half of the state. The activity is expected to wind down Sunday evening as the system moves east. [1]
