The Utah Shakespeare Festival is a nonprofit theater organization based at Southern Utah University in Cedar City. Founded in 1961, it presented its first season in 1962. Its home is the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts on the university campus. [1]

The festival uses three theaters with distinct performance settings: the outdoor Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre, the Randall L. Jones Theatre and the flexible Anes Studio Theatre. Its facilities also support rehearsal, education and artistic work. The organization connects repertory performance and Shakespeare with Cedar City's cultural and visitor economy. [1]
